<p>“When Arthur, self proclaimed second son of God sets out to save the world he loves, life gets a little crazy.With his band of rumbustuous street people, he brings wonder and hope to his gritty urban surroundings.”</p>
<p>The Insatiable Moon had its premier at the New Zealand International Film Festival in July 2010 to a sold out theatre and a standing ovation. It then ran in NZ cinemas for a flat out 12 weeks and continues to have screenings .</p>
<p>It premiered in the UK in the west end to a sold out screening in October 2010 and had its official release March 2011, and continues to screen around the UK.</p>
<p>We are continuing to explore distribution in other parts of the world.</p>

<p>MUMS' ARMY is the story of a community in freefall that became inspired  by the vision of one woman who refused to continue living in fear. It is  the story of how powerful the people can be, in the face of seemingly  insurmountable odds.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Saahasee</strong> - With 23 years of experience as a development agency Saahasee have created an exciting "model" of developing sustainable interventions  in the  urban poor communities in Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Bangalore and New  Delhi. Saahasee has a focus on women and self-help  groups to converge three  key  elements of sustainable development. The first is socio-economic  empowerment of  poor communities, the second is leadership development,  the third is knowledge  enhancement &amp; management. They work in disadvantaged  communities offering a variety of services with  communities managing, governing and   carrying this development process through a structured mechanism into  poor communities.</p>
<p>Blue Hippo Media are working with Saahasee to create a short documentary piece of media for use with funding, sponsors and other stake holders celebrating the history and achievements of the work, as well as mapping out future challenges.</p>

<p><strong>Africa Wise - </strong>"When an old man dies, a library burns to the ground" - African Proverb</p>
<p>Working with Equitas Resources, Africa Wise is a 10 year project celebrating stories of leadership. It will create a dynamic, visual library of lives that will give voices to tales of African leadership, mastery and skill, which might otherwise be lost to History. More than a sentimental legacy piece, it will aspire to raise the caliber of leadership in the here and now, highlighting the stories of those who have contributed in some significant way to Africa's emerging story and journey.</p>
<p>The pressure for short-term success is often at the expense of long term good. In capturing the wisdom of the past we hope to provide a tangible legacy of influence for the next generation.</p>

<p><strong>Tracks in the Sand - Stories inspired by "Tea with Hezbollah"</strong> -  The Middle East: An unlikely journey - an unusual theme: Is it possible to embrace your enemies?</p>

He acts as a catalyst for a number of current movements in the Middle East to promote peacemaking and to support cultural, political and religious dialogue. He is the author of "Muslims, Christians and Jesus", as well as co-author of "Tea with Hezbollah: sitting at the Enemies' Table"</p>
<p>We are currently in discussions to determine the exact shape that the project might take given the rapidly changing stage of the Middle East.</p>

<p><strong>The Hakawati Project</strong> - New Media and the Tradition of Storytelling in the Middle East</p>
<p><em>T</em>he Hakawati Project aims to create an online space in which the individual human stories that make up the Middle East today may be told, using new media. The stories will be told by young people from the Middle East who will be trained in the use of audio and video as well as in the arts of journalism and oral history. The project will build 21<sup>st</sup> century skills in information and communications technology, while at the same time providing a unique perspective on the human realities behind the headlines. It will become an online resource for schools and colleges, connect to real-world volunteer and service learning projects in the Middle East, and encourage a sense of global citizenship and human solidarity based around the simple idea of ‘Listening to the Other.’</p>

<p>In 1966 he became the most famous man in France – an outsider, an <em>American</em>, no less, who defied the authorities with an audacious Alpine rescue: a daring DIY dash up notorious mountain the Dru. In treacherous conditions, Hemming lead his amateur climbers beyond the limits of endurance: up a sheer cliff and through a lightning storm to save the lives of people he didn’t even know.</p>
<p>When he came down, he was lifted up: dubbed ‘Le Beatnik’ by the media, sucked into celebrity and away from what he loved. He couldn’t climb, he couldn’t cope.</p>
<p>In 1969, he returned to America, to die – driven over the edge by his love/hate affair with fame. He climbed to escape the world, but couldn’t escape himself.</p>

<p><strong>“Words are like spears. Once they have left their speaker's lips they can never return.”<br />

<p>The Battle of the Wordsmiths is the title of the second part of The Wild Kingdoms series. The story concerns the conflict between a king and a boy. The battle is watched by divine spirits, and its outcome will determine their fate. Over many days the king and boy battle, using letters and words to transform themselves and their surroundings into elements, animals, mythical creatures, and much more. It is a clash of letters, words, and ideas that has the potential to re-shape an entire world.</p>
<p><strong>Musical performance</strong></p>
<p>The Battle of the Wordsmiths musical style will be a combination of song/narration that include rap, r &amp; b acapella and beat boxing. There will not be a 'single' narrator; instead this will be shared between the performers - sometimes in groups, sometimes solos. All atmospheric sounds such as natural elements (wind/rain) or animals will be created through voice.<br />
The sound will evoke a faraway world in another time; it will be supported by vocal harmonies and melodies that will be familiar yet original. The Battle of the Wordsmiths experience will combine intimacy with visual and narrative scale. It will be a small scale epic that leaves a powerful impression on audiences of all age groups.</p>

<p>We shot this video on  behalf of the mental health trust, using film primes so it looks really  nice.</p>
<p>We also provided all the live camera mixes and visuals at  the huge NIA concert for 5,000 young people, and made a documentary for  which we shot behind the scenes footage, and interviews with the  performers, including a group of young people that took part in the show  and wanted other young people to know that they were capable of  achieving their dreams.</p>

This film ultimately to show to magistrates as part of Anawim's campaign  to change policies around offenders and prostitution, with the specific  aim of reducing the number of short sentences given out, which they see  as detrimental to the women themselves, and thus also to the  communities in which they live.  The film stipulates that to replace  short sentences with longer community orders, Anawim can directly  provide a huge range of services which help women move away from crime  and anti-social behaviour and into independence, regular employment and  dignity.</p>
